About Us
We Make Things. Real Things.
PlexPoly3d is a Canadian maker studio built on one simple idea: that precision 3D printing can turn history, geography, and imagination into objects you can actually hold.
We're not a factory. Every piece that leaves our studio is printed in-house, inspected by hand, and made to order. That means no warehouses full of unsold stock — just craftsmanship on demand.
The Person Behind the Printer
Hi, I'm Barsam — founder of PlexPoly3d. By day I'm running a 3D printer. By night I'm probably flipping through records or rewinding a cassette. I'm someone who appreciates things that are made well — whether that's a perfectly pressed vinyl, a hand-labeled tape, or a precision 3D printed ship model.
That appreciation for craft is baked into everything PlexPoly3d makes. When you order from us, you're not buying from a warehouse — you're getting something made by a person who genuinely cares about getting it right.
How It Started
It started the day my first FDM printer arrived — a Bambu Lab A1. I'd been curious about 3D printing for a while, but the moment that first print came off the bed, something clicked. I was hooked.
My first obsession was ships. The kind of vessels that shaped history — ocean liners, cargo ships, warships — and the stories they carried. When I couldn't find models that were accurate, detailed, and affordable, I printed them myself. From there, the idea grew: pocket-sized empire shapes, country silhouettes, keychains, desk curiosities. If it has a great shape and a great story, I want to print it.
